The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) proposes to conduct training programs for Small and Medium Pharmaceutical industry on the aspects of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Instrumental analysis and manufacturing of APIs and Formulations. Important aspects of the training programs are the demonstrations in the Technology Development Center (TDC), Central Instrument Laboratory (CIL), and Central Animal Facility (CAF) etc.

The Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) is an autonomous institute of excellence in translational biotechnology, fully funded by the Government of India. Research at RGCB has two major clusters, Disease Biology and Plant Biotechnology. They have an Integrated Cancer Research Program including networked basic and translational components, dengue & emerging viral disease biology, mycobacteria research and cholera biology.
