Postdoctoral Position in Biomaterials/ Bioengineering/ Applied Nanotechnology at National University of Ireland, Galway.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a one year fixed-term contract position as Postdoctoral researcher with the Network of Excellence for Functional Biomaterials (NFB) at National University of Ireland, Galway. The job profile includes researching synthetic biodegradable polymers, advancements in nanoengineering .and understanding in cell biology to fabricate novel nano-constructs with topographical geometries that will fully modulate osteoblast function.
Who can Apply?
- Ph.D. with a specialisation in Biomaterials or Nanotechnology.
- Hands on experience in nano-scaffold fabrication, polymer science/chemistry, biomaterials, tissue culture, and molecular biology techniques.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
