Designation: One Senior Scientific Officer, Grade-II (Physics) in the Directorate of Forensic Science, Ministry of Home Affairs.
The post is reserved for OBC candidates.
Qualifications: Education: Master’s degree in Physics/Bio-physics/Forensic Science with Physics as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience: Three years experience of Analytical methods and research in the field of Physics.
Desirable : Experience of working in a forensic science laboratory.
Duties :
- Assisting the Assistant Director/Dy. Director in the examination of crime exhibits in the concerned divisions and to depose expert evidence in the courts of law as and when required.
- To conduct research & development and to keep liaison with other research & development organizations.
- Any scientific work pertaining to the laboratory assigned by the Director/Dy. Director/Assistant Director from time to time in day to day functioning of the laboratory. Read more
