Ph.D. Fellowships at the International Max Planck Research School for Molecular and Cellular Life Sciences.
The International Max Planck Research School for Molecular and Cellular Life Sciences, jointly conducted by Munich based Max Planck Institutes and Universities has openings for fully funded PhD student positions. Highly talented students of all nationalities with a deep commitment to basic and/or clinical research are invited to apply. More than 50 internationally recognized group leaders actively participate in the Ph.D. program and offer challenging, cutting-edge Ph.D. thesis projects in the following areas:
- Biochemistry
- Cell Biology
- Neurobiology
- Molecular Medicine
- Structural Biology
All students accepted to the program will be supported by fellowships covering living expenses and tuition.
Who can Apply?
- Applicants should hold an M.Sc. or equivalent degree in biological sciences, chemistry, biophysics, bioinformatics, medicine or a related discipline at the point of enrollment.
- Outstanding applicants with a Bachelors degree may apply for a fast track option towards a doctoral degree (1+3 years).
How to Apply?
Deadline for application: January 15th (Friday), 2010
Selection will be completed by March 15th, 2010. Accepted candidates may start their research projects as early as April 2010.
