Applications (only through online) are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the Ph.D. Programme -2010 (*) in the frontier areas of Biological, Chemical and inter-disciplinary research at IICB. Details of the research areas in six R&D divisions can be seen in www.iicb.res.in . Maximum number of intake for the year 2010 will be 100.

Minimum Eligibility: NET (CSIR/UGC) examination qualified candidate or DBT/DST/ICMR- JRF Fellows.
Monthly Stipend: Rs.12, 000/ –Rs.12000/-Rs.14000/-

Age Limit : 28 years (relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH/Woman candidates).

Entrance-Interview: ? online applicants, if found suitable may further appear in the entrance-interview at their own cost, to be conducted by IICB.

Entrance-interview will be conducted quarterly (Around the last week of March, June, September and December) I nterview date & timings will be advertised on the website in advance. Please bring the receipt/report for online application submission along with copy of bio-data & academic records as proof of your eligibility at the time of interview. Advancement and continuation of research work leading to PhD registration and for awarding doctoral degree is subject to fulfillment of UGC guidelines.
