ADVANTA is looking for motivated scientists with a strong molecular plant breeding background to manage our newly established molecular marker laboratory. These positions are key scientific positions and will be involved in innovative strategic guidance for developing molecular technology, trait detection, and other genetic services and markers for product development. This laboratory of ADVANTA provides services and products to field and vegetable crop breeding that currently include molecular marker assisted breeding, molecular mapping and DNA Fingerprinting, trait analysis and cultivar purity.
The major responsibilities include:
· Coordination and management the daily research & service operations of the Molecular Laboratory of ADVANTA.
· Resource management for Molecular Marker Laboratory.
· Coordinate proactive molecular marker service and quality assurance ensuring that all activities in the Molecular Laboratory are in compliance with Company Quality Assurance goals and Health & Safety guidelines.
· Integrate these services into the company objectives and culture.
