In last few decades, biotechnology has emerged as a powerful tool by revolutionizing in the field of medicine, agriculture, industries and environmental protection. Companies in India have generated huge commercial and economic edge throughout the country and it is still growing.The full potential of biotechnology will only be realized if we continue to invest in a strong national research base and extend our efforts into new application areas. To reach these goals, the Department of Zoology and Biotechnology, St. Aloysius College, Jabalpur takes a further step to broaden the horizon of biotechnology in this new era of 21st century.
