Scientist ‘E’ Position open at Institute of Pathology, New Delhi.
Institute of Pathology has opening for Scientist ‘E’ Position. This position is one of the senior scientific staff of the Institute and the candidate will be required to lead independent research group in the Surgical Pathology as well as specialized basic and applied branches of Modern Pathology. The incumbent will also be required to guide postgraduate students for Ph.D. and DNB. The candidate is expected to have conducted good quality original research as evidenced by publications in indexed scientific journals; have scientific communication skills (verbal and written) as evidenced by presentations made and papers published at National and International level as first author; have a proven track record for securing research grants through competitive bidding at National and International level; demonstrate quest for excellence reflected by awards, prizes, fellowships etc. conferred by professional bodies; have working knowledge of computer applications; should have ability to lead a team and have had administrative experience at mid-level management position.
Who can Apply?
- MD in Pathology or MBBS Degree recognized by MCI and 10 years research experience in the field of Pathology/Biomedical Sciences.
- Additional post doctoral research/teaching experience in field of Pathology/ Biomedical Sciences with particular reference to modern techniques like immuno-cytochemistry, Image analysis, Electron microscopy and molecular biology.
- Knowledge of computer applications.
- Upper age limit of 50 years.
