Ph.D. Scholarship – Bioinformatics – University of Edinburgh
University of Edinburgh is offering Ph.D. Scholarship in Bioinformatics.
A unique opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary lab in University of Edinburgh is open for students in Biological, Computational or Mathematical field of study with interests to pursue Ph.D. degree.
Research Areas:
- A matter of timing: Light, temperature and the circadian clock control molecular signalling events that regulate the daily cycle of seedling growth.
- Signal Integration: Design features of network modules that integrate light and temperature cues. Molecular mechanismsthat coordinate light and hormone signalling.
- Novel pathways: Defining new light pathways and cell types required for mating in Neurospora.
Required areas of expertise in lab: Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry, Microscopy, Photo-physiology, Computational Biology,Mathematics.
