An exciting opportunity has arisen for a post doctoral scientist in statistical genetics to work on one of the cutting-edge projects in human genetics. Genome-wide association studies (GWAS) have revolutionized our understanding of the genetics of common human diseases. The Wellcome Trust Case Control Consortium (WTCCC), chaired by Professor Peter Donnelly, was the largest of the first generation of these studies.

Who can Apply?

  • Ph.D. in Statistics or Quantitative Genetics along with excellent computer skills.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent computer skills and  good communication skills.
