Kerala RGCB Protein Biochemistry Project Fellow Vacancy

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Project Fellow in a KSCSTE funded research project

Designation: Junior Research Fellow

Project Entitled: “Characterization of testis-specific Tyramine Receptor Like Protein (TRLP)” in the laboratory of Dr. G Padeep Kumar

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: MSc in any branch of Biological Sciences with a minimum of 60% marks in all qualifying examination (10th, 12th, B.Sc and M.Sc). Practical experience in protein isolation and characterization will be an added qualification.

AGE : Below 35 years

EMOLUMENTS: Rs. 8,000/- (fixed) per month

Duration : One year or till termination of the project (whichever is earlier).

How To Apply: Suitably qualified candidates may send applications on plain paper with a photograph, a copy of full resume and attested photocopies of credentials & experience to reach the undersigned on or before 5th March, 2010. The envelopes must be superscripted with abbreviated title of the project, the advertisement number and job title. Selection to the position will not entitle the candidate to any future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As with all project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminus with end of the project

*In the event of more than 10 candidates being short listed, a written test will be done before the selection interview. Selected candidates will be called for an interview on the same day.
