The Department of Twin Research (DTR) at King’s College London (KCL) has posted a position for senior postdoctoral position in Mathematical Biology/Statistics. This research position focuses on the analysis of genome-wide methylation data acquired through next generation sequencing and typing by array technology of Twins enrolled in a genome-wide multiple tissue transcriptomics project (Muther study). The post will be based mainly in the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute (WTSI), a world leader in genomic research that has played a major role in sequencing the human genome, but will have a KCL contract.

The post is available for 3 years in the first instance (part or full-time). Salary will be between £37,651 and £44,930, depending on experience. A biological background is not strictly necessary. The successful candidate will interact with a large group of mathematical and computational biologists. Experience with analysing microarray data and/or large scale resequencing data would be an advantage.
