Project Vacancies Technical Help Person , Directorate Of Rice Research Hyderabad

Eligible candidates are invited to attend the walk-in-interview on 11.2.2010 between 9.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. for the temporary posts of Technical Help Person to work under the research projects sanctioned to Directorate of Rice Research, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad.

BMGF funded project: “Stress-tolerant rice for poor farmers in Africa and South Asia”. Duration: 11 months

Essential Qualifications: B.Sc (Agriculture) / B.Sc in Life Sciences

Desirable Qualifications: (1)M.Sc (Ag.) in Genetics / Plant Breeding or M.Sc in Life Sciences (2)Basic knowledge in computer applications for data base management.

Emoluments: Consolidated pay of Rs.8,000/- p.m.

1.Age: Below 35 years for men and 40 years for women for Technical Help, Highly Skilled Technical Person, JRF & SRF and below 40 years for men and 45 years for women for RA as on 1.1.2010 (age relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates)

2.The above positions are purely temporary contractual and is to co-terminus with the project. There is no provision of re-employment after termination of the project.

3.No TA/DA will be paid to any candidate for attending the interview.

4.Canvassing in any form will lead to cancellation of candidature.

5.The decision of Project Director, DRR would be final and binding in all aspects.

6.Interested candidates should bring the following documents with them at the time of interview;
a) Original certificates and its attested copies of educational qualifications age & caste.
b) Relevant publications.
c). Experience certificate in original, if any.
d) Latest passport size photo
