Designation: Assistant Professors
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 (PB-3) with AGP of Rs. 6000/- plus usual allowances as admissible under Delhi University rules in the
following subjects:
Botany: 01 Post
Zoology: 01 Post
Qualification:
Good academic record with at least 55% marks (50% marks for candidates belonging SC/ST/PH or those who passed their master’s
degree prior to 19.09.1991 and hold a Ph.D Degree)
NET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor.
*However, those candidates, who are or have been awarded Ph.D. Degree in compliance of the “University Grants Commission
(minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D. degree), Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the
minimum eligibility condition of NET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor”.
