Post: Senior Scientist

Branch : Purification

Education: MS or Ph.D. in biochemistry, protein sciences, or related scientific field with a minimum of 3-5 years of post-degree hands-on experience.

Experience and Skill:

  • The candidate must have relevant laboratory experience to isolate cell-based heterologous products from bacterial, yeast and mammalian cell production platforms.
  • The candidate will be able to develop scaleable purification processes that translate to pilot-plant scale to produce clinical material.
  • The candidate will possess excellent scientific, communication and problem-solving skills, have a successful track record of leading a group, and ability to interact with other groups towards a common goal. The candidate should be highly motivated, demonstrate initiative and innovative thinking, be willing to expand their level of expertise outside of their core area and work with members of other teams.
  • This position will combine both hands-on work as well as a supervisory role. Prior experience in biotech industry is a plus.
