Education: Ph.D. in cell biology or related scientific field with a minimum of 3-5 years of post-degree hands-on experience.

Experience and Skill:

The candidate must have relevant laboratory experience in the field of mammalian cell biology, including cell line development and characterization to increase expression levels.
Expertise in developing and expressing heterologous constructs, including viral constructs, as well as characterization of these constructs is a prerequisite. Analytical skills include cell- and ELISA-based assay development.
The candidate will possess excellent scientific, communication and problem-solving skills, have a successful track record of leading a group, and ability to interact with other groups towards a common goal. The candidate should be highly motivated, demonstrate initiative and innovative thinking, be willing to expand their level of expertise outside of their core area and work with members of other teams
This position will combine both hands-on work as well as a supervisory role. Prior experience in biotech industry is a plus.
