Germany based Biopharmaceutical Company looking for Biostatistics Scientist
BioNTech AG, a Biopharmaceutical Start-up Company based out of Mainz, Germany is looking for a Biostatistician. The job profile involves collaborating with Molecular Biologists to invent and optimize new Biotechnologies/ Assays; Provide statistical framework, proof-of-principle, and prototype algorithms for novel assays; Collaborate with software programmers to implement robust code; Analyze large numerical datasets to generate robust results; Analyze and integrate proprietary and public domain data, such as proteomics, DNA and RNA deep-sequencing data, gene expression microarray, and immunoreactivity data; Integrate, analyze, and interpret phenotype, clinical, and genetic data from human cohorts; Identify novel drug targets and biomarkers for personalized medicine.
Who can Apply?
- Ph.D./ Master’s with 5 to 10 years of experience respectively.
- Demonstrated statistical excellence and ability to program in R, Matlab, or other statistical language.
- Experience analyzing large Biological/ Bioinformatics/ Genetics/ Genomic Datasets.
- Attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills are required.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, ability to multitask, and willingness to work in a start-up environment
