Call for Grant Advisers to Join Wellcome Trust (UK)/Department of Biotechnology (India) Alliance
Applications for Grant Adviser are invited from Indian citizens and non-resident Indians (NRIs) with a PhD and postdoctoral experience in a relevant biomedical sciences field. In particular, the Alliance would wish to receive applications from candidates with a background in Neuroscience or Bioinformatics/Genomics or Proteomics. Applicants should be keen to work in a business environment with close links to scientific research. Administrative experience, ideally within the context of a research funding organisation or a university, will be an asset.
Job Profile:
- Handling a portfolio of research grant applications and awards.
- Managing the processes associated with the Alliance’s grant-giving activities.
- Selecting referees and maintaining positive relationships with peer reviewers.
- Liaising with the scientific community, developing positive relationships with applicants and grant-holders.
- Supporting the Alliance’s key grant decision-making committees.
