Job Description:
- Perform purification of polysaccharides and proteins
- Perform chemical conjugation of polysaccharides with proteins
- Ensure completion of work assigned in timely manner
- Preparation of SOPs and work instructions related to the downstream processing activities
- Coordinate with Head-DSP and Maintenance department for smooth functioning and validation/ calibration of equipments etc
Desired Profile:
- M.Sc. (Microbiology / Biotechnology)
- Knowledge of protein and carbohydrate chemistries and purification methods
- Ability to have quick grasp over the subject.
- Ability to work in team
Experience: 1-2 years

I am Wayne P. Olson, PhD, FAIC. For 9 years I was intimately involved with the purification of human plasma proteins for injections at Baxter-Hyland Div., Los Angeles (now Baxter BioScience). Prior to that I worked in the field for Pharmacia Fine Chemicals (Uppsala) and Millipore Corp. I stopped working at Baxter to take my doctorate at Illinois-Chicago (my BS was in entomology & biochemistry from Cornell U.).
