Application are invited for the following post under Clinical Trial Unit Project. This post is purely temporary and are to be filled on year-to-year basis for the duration of the above mentioned project
1.CTU Pathologist :
Essential Qualification :
M.B.B.S. DCP with five years experience of working in clinical pathology/research laboratory
ORM.D. Pathology with two year experience of working in clinical pathology/research laboratory
Desirable Qualification :
Experience of working in clinical trials
Job Responsibility:
Supervision of clinical pathology laboratory that includes heamatology and bioschemistry Maintain routine QA/QC procedures. Develop/write technical documents as per the requirements of Quality Management System.
2. Laboratory Network(QA/QC) Co-ordinator
Essential Qualification :
M.Sc.in Microbiology/Medical Microbiology/Biotechnology/
Biochemistry/Healthsciences/Virology/Molecular biology/Biotechnology with 5 years experience in research laboratory
OR PhD in abovementioned disciplines
OR MD in Microbiology/Pathology/Biochemistry
OR Diploma in Pathology (DCP) with one year experience in clinical pathology/research laboratory
Desirable Qualification :
Experience of working in Clinical Trials
Job Responsibility:
To assist to implement and maintain the QA/QC procedures in labs as per the requirements of Quality Management System. Coordination of internal and external audits and related activities. Management of documents as per the document control system
3 .Research Scientist-I (Virology)
Essential Qualification :
1st Class M.Sc. in Virology/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Molecular Biology/Genetics/M.V.S.C with 2 years of experience in Virology/Research Lab/Teaching with knowledge of GCLP
Desirable Qualification :
PhD in related field with knowledge of GCLP
Job Responsibility :
Work in supervisory capacity in virology lab. Monitor the activities related to assays. QA/QC procedures etc. Perform the assays as per the requirements. Assist the head of the lab in requlatory issues and maintaining the lab.
