IIAR is looking for outstanding candidates for the post of Lecturer/ Assistant Professor in five year DBT-sponsored Project “Program support for School of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology
Posts:
Lecturer/ Assistant Professor (2)
Pay Scale: 15600-39100 (pay band 7600)
Qualification: Candidates should be PhD in any field of Biological Sciences and minimum four years of Post Doctoral experience and track record of peer reviewed publications
Desired: Expertise in the areas of Cell Biology/ Molecular Biology/ Immunology/ Stem cell research related to Human Health and Diseases. Age not more that 40 years on 31st December, 2009 (relaxable for deserving candidates and relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per Govt. of India guidelines).
General conditions:
- The engagement for the projects is purely on temporary basis for the period of duration of the project.
- It is not an appointment with the institute and will not confer any right of the incumbent to any claim implicit or explicit on any
- position.
- Appointment will be initially for a period of five years to be extended further depending upon satisfactory performance of the incumbent and is co-terminus with the project.
- It can however be terminated with a proper notice if the performance is not
- satisfactory.
