A Walk-in-interview is being fixed for 6.3.2010 at 9.30 AM for the post of Two Post Doctoral Fellows (1-UR, 1-PH) in the Division of Biochemistry, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi-110012
Qualifications: Essential : Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Plant Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Biosciences.
Desirable: Research experience in the area of plant biochemistry and molecular biology techniques.
FELLOWSHIP: Amount of Fellowship (consolidated) Rs. 18,000/-+HRA as applicable under rules per month.
AGE: The upper age limit is 35 years. Age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex.- Serviceman will be given as per the Govt. of India instruction on the subject.
*The period of engagement of Post Doctoral Fellows will be initially for a period of 1 year which may be extendable upto the XIth Plan Period i.e. upto 31.03.2012. There is no provision of re-engagement. The selected candidate(s) shall have no legal right to claim regularization by absorption or otherwise against any regular posts or any further contractual engagement on termination of the XIth Plan in the Institute. The engagement is purely time bound, non-regular and on co-terminous basis with the XIth Plan. The services of the incumbent shall stand terminated automatically on expiry of the period in the sanction and after 31.03.2012.Government strives to have a workforce which reflect gender balance and women candidate are encouraged to apply.
