Qualifications: Essential  A Educational  Master’s degree in Botany / Zoology / Microbiology / Biotechnology with Botany or Zoology as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level/Bio-chemistry with Botany or Zoology as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level/Physical Anthropology with Botany or Zoology as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level/Forensic Science with Botany or Zoology as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level/Genetics with Botany or Zoology as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level   from a recognized University or equivalent.

Experience: Two years’ experience of Analytical methods and research in the relevant field.

Duties : Assisting the Assistant Director in the examination of crime exhibits, R&D in the problems connected with the relevant field, conducting examination of crime exhibits in receipt of stores and equipments.  Crime Case Examination.  Giving evidences in the Courts of Law u/s 293 of Cr.PC.  Imparting training in their respective field of forensic specialization to the trainees from different investigating agencies/forensic science labs and other organization.  

HQ : Kolkata/Chandigarh/Hyderabad with all India service liability.
