WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR TEMPORARY RESEARCH PROJECT POST in IGIB New Delhi
Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology (IGIB), desires to engage qualified incumbents on purely temporary basis as detailed below:
Project “Validation of identified screening models and development of new alternative models for evaluation of new Drug entities.”
Project Assistant Level (II- III): 3/4 Posts
Qualification:
First Class MSc any branch of animal sciences (Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Zoology / Neuroscience / Genetics) or chemistry / B. Pharm or equivalent
OR
First Class M.Sc. any branch of animal sciences (Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Zoology / Neuroscience / Genetics) or chemistry / B. Pharm or equivalent with two years relevant experience.
Desirable:
Hand-on laboratory experience in areas such as handling, manipulation, and behavioral analysis of Drosophila; gene expression; gene silencing; drug testing; molecular biology; biochemistry; cell biology
Reservation: Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidate as per Govt. of India instruction and the duration of the post may be extendable up to project duration.
Engagement is for the project and on behalf of the funding agency and the tenure shall be co-terminus with the duration of the project. Contract may be terminated any time by giving one-month notice by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any CSIR/IGIB post.
Eligible applicants are invited for a walk-in-interview on above mentioned date along with their application/CV & relevant details along with testimonials in original. No candidate would be allowed in the interview with”result awaited” status.
No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates to attend the interview. Engagement of project assistant shall be as per CSIR guidelines.
Candidates will have option to give reply in Hindi.
