M.Sc. Project Work – Biotech/ Life Sciences – IISR Calicut
Indian Institute of Spice Research (IISR) at Calicut offers M.Sc. Project Work starting December 2009
Students pursuing M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Microbiology/ Botany/ Zoology/ Bioinformatics/ Agronomy/ Horticulture/ Statistics/ Economics/ Social Science have an opportunity to carry out their M.Sc. Project Work at Indian Institute of Spice Research, Calicut, from December 2009 onwards. Interested candidates can send their application on or before September 15th (Tuesday), 2009.
Who can Apply?
- Students with >75% marks in First semester/year of their M.Sc course.
- Subject of interest involve any of the following: Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension, Biochemistry, Botany, Biotechnology, Genetics, Plant Breeding, Horticulture, Bioinformatics, Information Science (Library), Microbiology, Plant Pathology, Plant Physiology, Entomology, Nematology, Soil Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, GIS.
Project Fees:
- Biotechnology – Rs 20,000 + Service Tax
- Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, Botany, Zoology - Rs 15,000 + Service Tax
- Bioinformatics (without any wetlab experiments), Agronomy, Horticulture, Statistics, Economics and Social Sciences - Rs 3,000 + Service Tax
