Post: Junior Research Fellow / Senior Research Fellow (JRF/SRF)
Project Entitled: “Studies on effect of small molecule compounds on folding and amyloid formation of proteins.”
Project Duration: The appointment will be on contract basis initially for one year, may be extended based on performance.
Qualification and Experience:
(JRF): MSc/MTech/ BTech in Biotechnology / Life sciences / Biochemistry or related subjects with minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. Candidate with valid NET/GATE will be preferred.
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be less than 28 years as on 31.12.2009.
(SRF): M. Sc. / M. Tech. / B. Tech. in Biotechnology / Life sciences / Biochemistry or related subjects with minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. Two years of research experience after passing qualifying degree is required. Candidate with valid NET/GATE will be preferred. The age of the candidate should be less than 32 years as on 31.12.2009.
Fellowship: JRF: Rs.12,000 p.m. & SRF: Rs.14,000 p.m. (consolidated). In addition HRA + Medical facilities are admissible as per Institute rule.
