The Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), Hyderabad is a premier autonomous R & D Institute under the Societies Act funded by the Department ofBiotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, that has been established to provide services and to undertake R & D in DNA Fingerprinting, DNA Diagnostics and other areas of modern biology.

Project Entitled: “Role of inositol pyrophosphates in cell physiology: Investigating the biochemical significance of protein pyrophosphorylation”

Project Duration : Five years

Designation: Scientist-B (1 Post, Unreserved, Code No. 01)

Age limit: 35 years

Pre-revised Scale of Pay: Rs. 8000-275-13500

Revised Pay Band: Rs. 15600-39100 Plus Grade Pay Rs. 5400 (PB-3)

Essential Qualifications: First Class M Sc / First Class B Tech / MBBS / MTech

Experience: Three years experience in relevant field OR Ph.D with one year post doctoral experience in the relevant field.

Desirable Qualification & Experience:
PhD in any branch of Life Science with one year post-doctoral experience in the relevant field. Experience in eukaryotic cell biology and biochemistry, as demonstrated by publications in peer reviewed journals.
