Project Vacancies Junior Resrsearch Fellow, Directorate Of Rice Research Hyderabad
Eligible candidates are invited to attend the walk-in-interview on 11.2.2010 between 9.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. for the temporary posts of Junior Resrsearch Fellow to work under the research projects sanctioned to Directorate of Rice Research, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad.
DST funded project : “Fine mapping of fertility restorer genes for WA-CMS system of rice and its application for identification of restorers”.
Duration: up to July 2010

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc Biotechnology/Agriculture/Botany degree with specialization in Plant Breeding / Genetics / Biotechnology / Plant Molecular Biology / Plant Sciences / Life Sciences / Botany
Desirable Qualifications: 1-2 years research experience in crop genetics / breeding as evidenced by publications and / or reference letters. Work experience in rice biotechnology/breeding/genetics will be preferred.
Emoluments: Consolidated pay of Rs.12,000/-p.m. plus HRA
