Project Vacancies Pl.Breeding / Entomology Technical Person , Directorate Of Rice Research Hyderabad
Eligible candidates are invited to attend the walk-in-interview on 11.2.2010 between 9.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. for the temporary posts of Pl.Breeding / Entomology Technical Position to work under the research projects sanctioned to Directorate of Rice Research, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad.
ICAR funded project: “Multi-location Evaluation of Rice Germplasm”.
Duration: 1 year & extendable further.
1. Highly Skilled Technical Person (1 post-Pl.Breeding)
Essential Qualifications: B.Sc or M.Sc degree with Botany as one of the subjects or Diploma in Agriculture from any of the recognized universities in the Country.
Desirable Qualifications: Flair to work in rice fields, Experience in field experiments and knowledge of computer application
Emoluments: Consolidated pay of Rs.8, 000/- per month
2. Highly Skilled Technical Person (1 post-Entomology)
Essential Qualifications: B.Sc. or M.Sc in any branch of life sciences.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in screening germplasm from insect resistance
Emoluments: Consolidated pay of Rs.8, 000/- per month
