Project Vacancies Senior Research Fellow / Junior Resrsearch Fellow, Directorate Of Rice Research Hyderabad
Eligible candidates are invited to attend the walk-in-interview on 11.2.2010 between 9.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. for the temporary posts of Senior Research Fellow / Junior Resrsearch Fellow to work under the research projects sanctioned to Directorate of Rice Research, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad.
Project Entitled: “Promoter mining of novel regulatory elements of candidate genes in rice for biotic stresses”.
Duration: Upto November, 2010

Essential Qualifications for SRF: M.Sc.,(Agriculture-Biotechnology) or M.Sc. in any subject of life sciences.
Desirable Qualifications for SRF: Basic Bioinformatics knowledge is required.
Emoluments: Consolidated pay of Rs.14,000/- p.m. plus HRA
Essential Qualifications for JRF: Master’s degree in Agriculture/Plant Sciences/Life Sciences/Biotechnology.
Desirable Qualifications: One-year research experience in plant breeding/plant biotechnology with specialization in marker-assisted selection/breeding/plant tissue culture/plant genetic transformation/agricultural entomology/plant pathology.
Emoluments: Rs.12,000/-p.m. plus HRA for first two years & Rs/.14,000/-p.m.plus HRA from 3rd year onwards.
