NEERI Genomics/Bioinformatics Project Opening, Nagpur
Application are invited on plain paper for engagement as Project Assistant on behalf of the sponsor as per following details:
1. Project title Genomic tools in bioremediation: Atrazine as model (DBT Project G-1-1649)
2. Prescribed Educational Qualification: First class M.Sc. (Life Sciences/Equivalent)
3. Job Requirement: Minimum 2 years experience in Bioinformatics in Research/Industrial environment
4. Fixed remuneration (p.m): Rs. 10,000/- to 12,000/- (as per rule)
5. No. of positions (the number of positions may vary)- One (1) JRF
6. Age limit 28 years (relaxation admissible as per rules of Govt. of India)
The engagement is purely on a temporary basis which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the sponsored project, satisfactory performance/conduct of the appointee. The engagement will be co-terminus with project duration. The engagement shallnot be an appointment in CSIR/NEERI, temporary or otherwise. It would, therefore, notconfer any right/claim, implicit or explicit for consideration for regularization/absorption.
How To Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply with bio-data in the prescribed format (available at neeri.res.in) supported by copies of documentary proof of date of birth, educational qualifications and experience etc. by post/courier to Project Leader.
Walk In Interview: Applicants will appear for walk-in personal interview before the Selection Committee on 25th February 2010 at 12.00 noon in Room No. 09 at Division/Zonal Centre Environmental Genomics Unit. No TA will be admissible for appearing for the interview. Candidates who do not fulfill the prescribed educational qualification will not be interviewed.
*No interim inquiries will be entertained in this regard.
