Genetic Engineering Project Opening @ Pondicherry University
Recruitment: Research Associate / Research Fellow
Applications are invited for one RA/JRF/SRF position for three years, to work in the CSIR research scheme.
Entitled: “Development of High Oleic Sesamum indicum L. (Gingelley) by Genetic Engineering”.
Minimum Required Qualification: Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent degree in any branch of life science with minimum 55% marks at M.Sc. level.
Duration And Experience: Candidate directly selected by CSIR for award of RAship and those with experience in molecular biology is preferred.
Note: Those who have submitted PhD thesis can also apply for the position of RA (SRF extended) provisionally for one year. Candidates with M.Sc. in any branch of life science having minimum of 55% marks and a clearance in UGC-CSIR NET examination, if found suitable, will be considered for JRF.
Maximum Age limit: 28, 32, 33 and 35 for JRF, SRF, SRF (extended) and RA respectively.
Remuneration: As per CSIR norms.
