Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine a constituent establishment of the of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, wishes to recruit Research Associate, SRF, Project Assistants at Level I, II & III and Field Assistant on temporary basis to work in various sponsored/networked/contract projects in this Institute and to make a panel of the selected candidates for future project positions.
Post: PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL-III
Essential Qualification : Ist Class M.Sc./BE or equivalent in the area of (Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Life Sciences/Molecular Biology/Microbiology) OR Chemical Sciences (Natural Product Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry/Synthetic Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/analytical chemistry), with at least 2 years experience after M.Sc./BE/etc.
Desirable : Practical Experience in relevant areas using modern techniques with proven record and should have knowledge of subject.
POST STIPEND AGE: Rs.16,000/- P.M. + HRA (if applicable) 35 years (28.07.2010)
Age will be determined as on date of Interview. Relaxation of age is admissible for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically Handicapped categories as per rules. Age-relaxation in case of women will be applicable for widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands. Relaxation in the upper age limit of 5 years is also applicable for persons who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of J&K during the period of 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 subject to production of certificate from the concerned District Magistrate in the J&K within whose jurisdiction he/she had ordinarily been resided or from any other authority designated in this behalf by the Govt. of J&K to the effect that he/she had ordinarily being domiciled in the J&K during the period of 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
Tenure : ONE YEAR : likely to be extended.
Date of Interview : 28.07.2010 Time : 8.30 AM Venue : Conference Hall, IIIM, Jammu.
Candidates fulfilling the above qualification and age may attend the interview on 28.07.2010 at this Institute. They should bring along with them original testimonials and Xerox copies of certificates of educational qualification, Date of birth, Caste, Domicile certificate etc. and also a passport size photograph.
