Research Associate / Research Scientist: Cell Biology

Education MSc. in cell biology, immunology, pharmacology, biochemistry, or a related area with a minimum of two years of hands-on LABORATORY experience.

Experience and Skills (preferred):

Mammalian cell culture (Tissue culture)

  • Perform cell based assays such as proliferation, apoptosis, internalization, adhesion and invasion . Maintain cell lines, develop and run cell-based assays.
  • Interpret and report data to the drug discovery teams, maintain accurate laboratory records (SOPs) and input appropriate data into databases.
  • Experience with blood work (Hematology) and working with radioisotopes is required.
  • Experience with ELISAs, Cell culture, immuno-precipitation, western blotting, cell-based assays , fluorescent imaging and immuno-histochemistry preferred.
  • Experience with data analysis and graphing software preferred.
  • Attention to detail is important as well as the ability to work in a fast paced environment performed independently with minimal supervision.
