Applications are invited upto 28th July 2009 for one post of Scientist ‘B’ in the Pay Band-3 Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400/- (as admissible under the rules) under ICMR Research Cadre at the Institute of Pathology , New Delhi . It carries all India transfer liability.
Qualification & Experience:
Essential:
1st Class Master’s Degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Genetics/Life Sciences with three years research/teaching experience in modern proteomics.
OR
Second class Master’s degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Genetics/Life Sciences with PhD degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
Desirable:
(i) Doctorate degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Genetics/Life Sciences.
(ii) Knowledge of Bioinformatics/Computer Application.
Job Requirement:
Should be able to plan and participate in studies on isolation and characterization of proteins or newer molecules using modern chromatographic methods, mass spectrophotometry, 2Dgel electrophoresis, relevant to cancer biology or infectious agents and carry out research on their structure and functional relationship.
