Essential Qualifications & Experience:
1st Class M. Sc in /Life Sciences with 7 years experience or 4 yrs. experience after Ph. D. in the relevant area evidenced by high quality publications.
Job Requirement:
To work as a team/ group leader for sustainable management and utilization of medicinal/aromatic plant resources and drug development projects
How To Apply:
Interested candidates fulfilling the above conditions may apply in the prescribed proforma which can be downloaded from IIIM website www.iiim.res.in/www.rrljamm.org , against application fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One hundred only) in the form of Crossed Demand Draft payable at Jammu in favour of Director, Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine , Jammu, ( US $ 25 in case of candidates applying from abroad ).
However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories or Council employees are exempted from payment of fee. SC/ST/PWD candidates have to submit an attested copy of caste /PWD disability certificate while requesting for application form.
Separate application forms should be submitted for each post for candidates who wish to apply for more than one post
Completed applications in all respects, supported by attested copies of certificates of educational qualifications, experience certificates, caste certificate, PWD certificate issued by the competent authority (in the case of SC/ST/OBC, etc.) along with one recent passport size photo affixed(duly signed on the photo) , together with an application fee as stated above may be sent in an envelope mentioning “Application for the post of (__________________), Post Code(____________) “to the Director, Indian institute of Integrative Medicine , Canal Road, Jammu (Tawi) -180001 so as to reach on or before 30.09. 2009 . Applications received after the last date are liable to be rejected. The upper age limit will be reckoned as on 30.09. 2009 which is relaxable as per Govt. orders in force from time to time in respect of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates and Council servants.
Relaxation of upper age limit of 5 years is also applicable for persons who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of J& K during the period of 1.1.1980 to 31.12.1989 subject to production of a certificate [ certificate must be attached with the application ] from the District Magistrate in whose jurisdiction he/she had ordinarily resided OR from any other authority designated in this behalf by the Govt. of J & K State. Number of posts in particular area may increase or decrease at the time of selection.
