Postdoctoral/ Ph.D. Positions Available at National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bengaluru.
National Centre for Biological Sciences and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Bengaluru are looking for Postdoctoral and Ph.D. candidates with training in Chemistry or Biochemistry. Candidates must be team-oriented with good experimental and communication skills. A background in analytical techniques (HPLC, Capillary Electrophoresis, LC-MS/MS, MALDI-MS, GC, GC-MS) or Lipid chemistry is useful. Applicants must have a keen interest in working in a vibrant multidisciplinary research environment and enjoy the challenge of developing Mass Spectrometry-based Metabolomics/Lipidomics approaches.
- Postdoctoral Fellow: The initial appointment is for 2 years with an extension up to 5 years.
- PhD Student: The initial appointment is for 3 years with an optional extension up to 5 years.

Our laboratory focuses on Metabolic control of development and molecular understanding of Tissue specificity and Cell differentiation. To this end, we develop and apply Mass Spectrometry-based Metabolomics/ Lipidomics approaches in conjunction with Genetic experiments (http://www.ncbs.res.in/research/dominik).
