Eligible candidates are invited for appearing in a Walk In Interview on 29th January ‘2010 at 11.00 A.M. in the Office of the Deputy
Registrar, AAU, Khanapara, Guwahati for a position Research Associate on purely contractual basis during the remaining part of the XIth Plan period (2007-12) under the project mentioned below.

Name of the project: Intellectual Property Management and Transfer/Commercialization of Agricultural Technology Scheme (Up-scaling of existing component i.e. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) under ICAR Headquarters Scheme on Management and Information Services)

Essential Qualification: PhD in the relevant subject or Master’s degree in Veterinary Science/Agri. Science/ M.Sc. (Life Science)

Eperience: Two years of research experience

Pay: As per ICAR norms

Terms and conditions:
1. Age limit is 35 years for Men & 40 years for Women (relaxation of age in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per Government norms).
2. The above positions are purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. There is no provision of re-employment after termination of the project.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
4. All eligible candidates are requested to be present 30 minutes before the scheduled time on the date of interview for necessary
formalities.
5. The applicants must bring with them their complete biodata, original documents along with one recent passport size photograph and a  brief of research work carried out during post graduation along with one set of photocopy of the same at the time of interview.
6. NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from his/her employer and experience certificate in original should be produced, wherever applicable.
7. Canvassing in any form will lead to cancellation of candidature.
8. The decision of the Director. NRC on Yak, ICAR, Dirang would be final and binding in all aspects.
