Designation: Research Analyst

Job Duties:

70%/30% specific coverage company research versus cross-company/sector research.
Specific company coverage typically involved detailed product revenue analyses like therapeutic market models, IMS data updates on an ad-hoc and ongoing basis, maintenance of clinical data on pipeline products
Contribution to thematic sector research using secondary research if required, like scientific meeting abstracts, comparison of clinical trial data, in-depth understanding of various therapeutic areas, conference calls with key opinion leaders, etc

Skills required:

Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry knowledge (Advanced)
Overview of various therapeutic areas and the key issues in each area (Advanced)
Statistical analysis of clinical trial data (Advanced)
MS Word/ MS Excel (Advanced)
Mathematical/financial modeling knowledge to include full company modeling experience as well as ability to build detailed therapeutic/market models
Cursory knowledge of patent law to understand various deal dynamics
